I have a four year old and a two year old and they both love The Backyardigans. It is a great show for preschoolers. I wish they would go on “tour” again, they were wonderful in concert for the Mighty Knights.
My sons love this DVD we recently were returning home from a road trip and for over five hours the DVD played in the car and once we arrived home my five year old requested that I play the DVD.
We have this movie recorded on our DVR and my 3yr old plays it approximately 5x/day. I go to work with the songs stuck in my head! It drives me crazy but she loves it so much. We’re going to be moving soon, so I’m going to have to buy it now.
This is one of the greatest Backyardigans episodes, it’s double-length (I mean the title episode), great music, funny. It’s one of the ones adults will linger nearby to watch.
My 2 1/2, 5, and 7 year olds LOVE this movie soooooo much. They play it over and over and over. Sometimes it is on just for background music. And oddly enough, I’m not sick of the repetitiveness, I sing along too.
