I like the show. But, we must remember that the Real NCIS is in charge of “Camp Delta” in Guantanamo Bay, where at least four deaths by torture occurred.
This series is made up of lots of fine actors who are wasted acting out puerile practical jokes on one another and behaving in a generally childish and unprofessional manner. At times it is quite clear that even they don’t believe what they are required to say. Why can’t the scriptwriters show a bit of maturity; and where is the sea and the ships?
Odd that the networks have been hosing us with a bunch of half season box sets for full price. Thank the writers.
Pretty shameful.
Great series.
NCIS is part of the cis franchise that has been a huge hit for cbs. But this is the best of the lot. It has drama as well as comic relief. Mark Harmon is perfect as Agent gibbs who runs a small group of agents that investigate navy matters. HIs group is full of characters that make the show appeal to many. If you like csi you will love this.
The only part of the series that I do not like is the part were Gibbs retires but comes back? I wish that Gibbs would have stayed retired so that the other characters could have expanded like his second in command which was Tonny. I real life I dobt that people would come back from being retired to getting their own job back. Now it would have made some sense that if he had come back that he should have taken the directors seat. I deffinity agree that the first three series were probally the best and that the rest was kinda of sloppy. I would though highly reccomend the first three series to anybody who is into detective sories.
